As New England’s most accessible mountain resort, Loon provides an ideal place for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy some of the greatest riding in the East. Loon Mountain, in the town of Lincoln, has made a continued commitment to give guests the best experience with more than $1.8 million recently invested in snowmaking and guest services. Loon features three peaks with more than 2,100 feet of vertical full of steep runs, long cruisers, tree skiing, and a terrain park and superpipe.
North Peak is the highest point in the resort, and with trails such as Walking Boss and Flume, provides access to the majority of the expert-rated terrain. From the base of the resort, a short gondola ride will bring skiers to the top of Loon Peak, which is a gateway to the Family Ski Zone and a number of advanced and expert trails. South Peak is the newest addition to the resort, and boasts fantastic views of Mt. Moosilauke, Mt. Lafayette and the town of Lincoln.
Summer adventure continues with miles of hiking and biking trails with excellent sights, zipline tours, gondola skyrides, and an indoor climbing wall. Loon is also home to world-class dining, with cafés, delis, grills, and a variety of mountain lodge restaurants.
