VacationRoost started its first ever Pinterest competition for you to win $500 towards your next VacationRoost vacation. Hurry and pin away because the contest ends April 2, 2012 at 12am (ET)!
What to do:
1) Create a board. Create a board on your Pinterest page and title it “VacationRoost Getaway Giveaway”. You can find our Pinterest Board at: http://pinterest.com/luvstravel/.
2) Pin It. Go to our website on http://www.vacationroost.com and pin 10+ of your favorite pictures of where you would love to travel.
3) Enter to Win. Enter through our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/vacationroost under Pinterest Giveaway.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. PURCHASES WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING. PRIZE INCLUDES A $500 TRAVELROOST TRAVEL CERTIFICATE THAT CAN BE USED TOWARD ANY VACATION LODGING ON WWW.VACATIONROOST.COM.
2. Eligibility. To enter the VacationRoost Getaway Giveaway contest you must be a U.S. resident, age 21 years and older at time of entry. You must have or create a profile on Facebook and Pinterest to enter. Sign up for Facebook at www.facebook.com. Pinterest signups are currently by invitation only. If you need an invitation please e-mail us at social@vacationroost.com. All entries must be received during the contest period between 12:01 a.m. (EST), February 15, 2012 and 12:01 a.m. (EST), April 2, 2012. Entrants agree by participating to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions made by VacationRoost.
3. How to Enter. Complete the following four steps to successfully submit your entry for the VacationRoost Getaway Giveaway.
Step 1: Create a Pinterest board and entitle it "VacationRoost Getaway Giveaway." Only one (1) board entry per person is permitted.
Step 2: Pin a minimum of 10 of your favorite pictures directly from http://www.vacationroost.com onto your "VacationRoost Getaway Giveaway" board. Pictures that are not directly pinned from this website are not counted towards this requirement. Pictures re-pinned from the VacationRoost Pinterest Board will also not be counted towards this requirement. The VacationRoost Board can be found at http://pinterest.com/luvstravel.
Step 3: Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/vacationroost to gain access to the contest widget.
Step 4: On our Facebook page you will find Rafflecopter widget on the left sidebar where you can earn up to one additional entry each day by clicking the “Pin It To Win It” button and submitting the link of a pin you added to your board. You may enter once per day until the end of the contest period. Applicants can receive two additional entries for the entire contest when they like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
VacationRoost reserves the right to delete any pins that are duplicated, inappropriate, not from VacationRoost.com, or for any other reason. All participants agree upon entry of their Pinterest board that VacationRoost shall have an unlimited license to reproduce, publish in the media, and create any derivative works of the board. Participants release VacationRoost from any and all liability for their and any others use of the prize and entry. VacationRoost will not be responsible for entries that are lost, incomplete, late, post-due, incorrect, or a duplication of information in any form.
4. Award Selection. One winner will be randomly chosen on April 2, 2012 from all entries received by April 2, 2012 at 12:01 a.m. (EST). The selected entry will be verified for completion of all requirements and compliance with contest rules.
5. Prize. One (1) winner will receive a $500 VacationRoost Travel Certificate. The certificate will be sent by mail and can be used toward any vacation rental (condo, lodge, hotel, vacation home, townhome, or cabin) on our website http://www.vacationroost.com. The $500 travel Certificate can only be used one time by calling into our office when the Certificate is ready to be redeemed. If there is remaining balance after the Certificate was used, the remaining amount is voided and cannot be used toward another vacation rental. The VacationRoost Travel Certificate must be used within 12 months of acceptance. VacationRoost is also not responsible for a lost or stolen prize certificate.
6. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winner will be notified via email and on our websites on April 2, 2012. The winner will have through April 6, 2012 to accept their prize or another winner will be chosen.
7. Participation. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and decisions of the judges. VacationRoost reserves the right to modify or terminate the contest for any reason.
8. Disclaimers. VacationRoost will not be liable for losses, death, or injuries resulting from any participant's (and all members associated with participant) travel of any kind, use, acceptance, and participation of the $500 VacationRoost Travel Certificate. Prizes are nontransferable and no substitutions are allowed. Prizes cannot be traded, refunded, or resold.
