This Island is one of the busiest in the Caribbean and for a good reason: it has some of the most famous snorkeling spots in the World. One of the most well-known sites is Stingray City where snorkelers can get up close and personal with tamed stingrays (although technically they are still wild) that are used to being around people. Other popular sites are Cemetery Reef, Eden Rock, and the wreck of the USS Kittiwake.
Cozumel, Mexico
Known world-wide as one of the premier diving spots, Cozumel has rightfully earned its prestigious reputation. Equally as
enjoyable for snorkelers, the decades of federal environmental protection are obvious with the natural beauty that resides in the waters of Cozumel. Some of the most famous snorkeling and diving spots include Palancar and the wreckage of the Convair airplane.

In Belize, you can snorkel and still get the intimacy and excitement you get from scuba diving. The Barrier Reef provides 185 miles of accessible, beautiful snorkeling and diving with a variety of tropical fish and other sea creatures. The Ambergris Caye is the most famous tourist destination in Belize with its near-perfect snorkeling and diving conditions.
