Boasting a vertical of more than 4,000 feet and notoriously known for its steep terrain, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is the true playground of freeskiers. Prepare for a 20 minute hike to reach The Headwall and Casper Bowl, both of which are inbounds despite the climb. Telluride, CO
Telluride locals will boast they have the steepest, deepest and most diverse terrain in North America and they aren’t far from the mark. Telluride is heavenly paradise for advanced skiers. Difficult runs can be had in the Revelation Bowl and along the Apex and Gold Hill lifts. If you love an adrenaline rush, try going up to Palmyra Peak at 4060 meters then hit the run. It winds through extremely steep rock furrows to the valley. Try “The Plunge” next. It boasts a 3,140 vertical drop with breathtaking views of the town below.
